Barnett and Stevens have been promoted to commercial director, digital sales and digital investment director respectively
Barnett will work to encourage commercial collaboration and maximise revenue across all agency holding groups, as well as continue to head up agency trading deals for digital and the programmatic direct team.
Meanwhile, Stevens will add leading the organisation’s digital sales strategy and direct revenue growth to his current responsibilities for digital direct sales.
Both promotions will commence with immediate effect.
Barnett has been with Mail Metro Media for eight years, starting in programmatic sales and had been heading up digital trading prior to her promotion. Previously, she worked at Adform, a programmatic tech company, and at Advertising.com, AOL’s programmatic and performance marketing arm.
Stevens has worked in media for 18 years, beginning his career at Haymarket before joining Mail Metro Media in 2007. He originally joined the Mail On Sunday’s commercial team before becoming sales director for Mail Newspapers. In 2016 he moved into the MailOnline team with a directive to help grow direct digital ad revenues. Before his promotion, he was Mail Metro Media’s head of digital sales.
