Mail Metro Media and Dove’s new podcast proves a fresh hit with listeners

Mail Metro Media’s latest branded podcast ‘Small Steps, Big Impact’ in association with Dove, has already made big waves on the iTunes chart. With only the first episode currently available, it debuted at no.30 on Friday 4th September before climbing to no.19 and amassing more than 750 reviews in just a few days.

The six-part series, hosted by lifestyle blogger Zanna Van Dijk, aims to inspire listeners to start taking simple, manageable steps towards living a more sustainable lifestyle and show that, though none of us are perfect, together we can make a big impact. Guests like environmental activist Lizzie Carr and wellbeing influencer Grace Victory offer a wealth of advice on topics ranging from diet, well-being, style and plastic reduction.

Teaming up with Entale and Mindshare UK, Mail Metro Media developed the podcast to promote Dove’s sustainability efforts after the beauty brand moved to 100% recycled plastic bottles* and plastic-free packs last year, committing to industry-leading innovations to reduce its use of virgin plastic.

Passionate about sustainability, Zanna Van Dijk has hosted a mini recycling series with BBC Earth Unplugged, co-founded Stay Wild Swim – a line of ethical women’s swimwear created using regenerated ocean plastic – and started the 14,000+ strong Living Consciously Crew Facebook group.
