A new generation of newsbrand journalism

With a proliferation of platforms, why do young journalists still gravitate to professional newspaper brands? The Sun's Sophie Tighe, i's Oly Duff and The Telegraph's Francesca Marshall gave their views at Shift 2018. 

Duff described the "trust and prestige" attached to newspaper brands and explained why the "huge levels of engagement and emotional connection with readers" makes them stand out. The panel touched on how important it is to present facts in an era of fake news and explained why there will always be a need for quality journalism.
