Sir Nicholas Winton

Captured in the Daily Telegraph. “A statue of the late Sir Nicholas Winton, who helped bring children at risk from the Nazis to Britain, is lit up at a station in his home town of Maidenhead, Berks, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. The 669 candles represent each child he saved with his Kindertransport mission of 1939.”
