Captured in The Guardian. “A ranger from the Virunga national park climbs through ash-covered foliage on the slopes of Mount Nyiragongo. The volcano erupted on 22 May, killing 30 people and prompting the evacuation of nearly half a million residents of the provincial capital of Goma.”
