The investor donates two best-selling careers and business books for free to readers of Reach titles.
The news publisher and BBC Dragons Den investor James Caan CBE are supporting Britain on the road to recovery post-pandemic by making the entrepreneur’s bestselling books “Get the Job You Really Want” and “Start Your Business in 7 Days” free for digital download in both audio and print formats on 19 and 20 November.
A recent ONS report reveals that redundancies reached a record high in the three months to September, an increase of a record 181,000 people in a quarter (ONS Labour Market Overview, November 2020). The Office for Budgetary Responsibility is also predicting that the jobless rate could hit 12 percent of the population – 4 million people – before the end of the year.
Commenting on his book giveaway James Caan said: “The pandemic has rapidly sped up our transition towards a digital-first economy.
