New for 2018: Planning with PAMCo award

To mark PAMCo's launch year, the 2018 Newsworks Planning Awards will feature one-off awards recognising best use of the readership data by media agencies and national newsbrands’ sales teams.  

The new category includes: 

  • The agency award – Open to all UK media agencies, this will be presented to the team that the judges feel have most effectively used PAMCo data to inform, shape and advance a campaign strategy

  • The sales team award – Aimed at national newsbrand sales teams, this award celebrates the best use of PAMCo in a sales story, with clear evidence of how use of the data impacted the outcome of a sale

The best use of PAMCo will be rewarded alongside Newsworks’ long-running categories/prizes, including 'Best newspaper campaign', 'Best topical campaign' and the 'Effectiveness award'.

Celebrating the stand-out campaigns in newsbrands over the past year, the Newsworks Planning Awards recognise media agencies' innovative and creative planning teams. This year there will be eight categories to enter, plus a chair's award.

The awards will be open for entries from 31 August, with an awards party in November. The awards are free to enter and open to all agencies and brand owners with work running in one or more national newsbrands.

Past chairs include BT Group's Zaid Al-Qassab, Aviva's Jan Gooding and RBS' David Wheldon. This year's jury is shaping up to be one of our best yet, so get planning!
