New candidates announced by the Journalism Diversity Fund

The fund marks its 15th anniversary.

The Journalism Diversity Fund awards bursaries to aspiring journalists from diverse backgrounds who don’t have the means to finance their NCTJ journalism training.

The fund is administered by the National Council Training for Journalists (NCTJ) and supported by the industry.

Backers include Reach, Newsquest, Bloomberg, Reuters, Sky, the Financial Times, Associated Newspapers and many others, with the continued support by the Society of Editors and Cision.

To apply, candidates must fulfil a variety of different criteria. Find out more here

Through continued support by the industry, an amazing 300 bursaries have been awarded since 2005.
