IPA's EffWeek returns for 2018 + AA&I Forum

Now in its third year, EffWeek's 2018 programme includes adam&eveDDB's Les Binet and marketing consultant Peter Field, as well as a one-day Audience Analytics & Insight Forum.

With the flagship conference taking place on 9 October at CodeNode in London, EffWeek 2018 is designed to "boost marketing investment, future-proof marketing strategies and optimise marketing outcomes".

Speakers taking to the stage include: Les Binet, head of effectiveness at adam&eveDDB and Peter Field, marketing consultant; Dr Louis Rosenberg of Unanimous AI in conversation with IPA president Sarah Golding; Nigel Vaz, global CEO at Publicis.Sapient; and Steve Langan, CEO of Hiscox Insurance. 

There will be four new pieces of research presented:

  • Marketing effectiveness in the digital era part two: a deep dive into IPA Databank ratios across sectors and categories with Les Binet and Peter Field
  • Creating an effectiveness culture: the launch of IPA and ISBA industry benchmark across finance, marketing and agencies, with case examples of how to do it well
  • The metrics that matter - from green paper to white paper: a cross-industry framework for measurement strategy
  • Optimising multi-platform creativity: the results of a series of collaborative R&D projects evaluating multimedia creativity and effectiveness

The flagship day will be followed by satellite events around the UK for the rest of the week, including the Audience Analytics & Insight Forum on the 16 October. This one day forum for senior insight, analytics and data decision makers will get to the heart of how analytics and insight can drive brand growth.

Speakers at the AA&I Foruminclude: Jo Holdaway, chief data officer at ESI Media, Sarah Gale, head of insight & analytics at OMD and Tessa Herbert, head of marketing, NSPCC.

Topics covered will span how audience transparency can power effectiveness, how to achieve maximum ROI in a multi-platform world and 10 ways blockchain will impact the analytics and insights industries.
