IBM and Telegraph Spark produce a campaign to run during Wimbledon that analyses the role of artificial intelligence in sport and how enhanced data insights using IBM’s Watson technology are benefiting coaches and fans alike.

  • The campaign’s longform article features video interviews with a panel of experts, including elite coach Judy Murray, IBM’s Sam Seddon and The Telegraph’s special correspondent Harry de Quetteville, discussing the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in sport.
  • There is also analysis of how IBM’s Watson technology is being used to create coaching strategies as well as develop more enhanced viewing experiences for fans.
  • To illustrate the capability of AI technology, Spark is producing a series of vertical videos, which are promoted on the Telegraph’s social channels throughout Wimbledon. The short video clips showcase three of the main highlights from the day’s play, selected using IBM Watson data insights.
