- A specially created musical cover wrap of Metro newspaper, which played the infamous Queen track Bohemian Rhapsody when opened
- Papers were hand-distributed by Freddie ‘look-a-likes’ to 5,000 commuters at London’s Liverpool Street and Waterloo stations
- Commuters also received clip-on replica moustaches, which had been produced for sales in aid of the Mercury Phoenix Trust which fights AIDS worldwide
