NHS test and trace branded content goes live across England

Sponsored stories encourage people to help reduce the spread of the virus.

A central part of the government’s coronavirus recovery is the NHS test and trace service.

Launched in England at the end of May, it helps the NHS to identify, contain and control the spread of coronavirus.

The service calls on everyone to play their part in keeping the rate of reproduction (r) down.

To provide guidance to readers, sponsored content initially ran at the beginning of June and included Q&As about data privacy, whether antibody tests will be part of the service and how to take part if you don't have a phone or computer (via Hull Daily Mail). To get an insight into how it will impact the spread of the virus, interviews with NHS contact tracers shed light on how the service will make a real difference (via Metro).

New branded content runs today (Friday 3 July). This story will be updated as more sponsored stories go live.

The sponsored stories are part of an advertising partnership launched between the government and newspaper industry, aimed at keeping the public safe and nation united throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
