Mail Metro Media and Metropolitan Police team up to launch force’s new apprenticeship scheme

The media-first partnership features in today’s papers.

The Metropolitan Police promoted its new apprenticeship route with a 4-page advertorial pull-out and glossy cover wrap of Metro newspaper on Thursday 6th February – its first ever content partnership with a media owner.

25,000 copies carrying the wrap were distributed to morning commuters across London, promoting the benefits and competitive salary package of the new Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship.

Content within the newspaper – which reaches 860,000 Londoners daily and has an audience of 55% 18-44 year olds – explored the initiative, as part of a wider feature on apprenticeships.

Anne Shooter, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Mail Metro Media said: ‘We are delighted to work with the Metropolitan Police to promote its new apprenticeship scheme. They do such incredible work and we hope it encourages young people from a range of backgrounds in the capital to explore a rewarding career with the force.’
