ABC: 28 million daily browsers for newsbrands in October

The official ABC figures for October 2018 show that the UK national newspaper market reached 27.9 million digital browsers every day during the month.

Metro recorded the largest annual growth of total traffic, up 4%, with an additional 1.5 million browsers compared to last year. The title's average daily unique browsers reached a total of 2.2 million – up 7% annually.

MailOnline the UK’s most visited newsbrand site, received an average of 12.2 million unique daily browsers daily, up 7% month on month, working out to 169 million browsers over the course of October.

Reach plc received an average of 8.7 million unique browsers daily, working out to 140 million browsers over the course of the month.

The Sun recorded 4.8 million average unique browsers daily and just under 78 million unique browsers throughout October

In print, overall circulations were stable, with the total market down 1.3%.
