i launches weekly financial section, imoney

i’s brand new personal finance section will run every Wednesday in print and online.

imoney will delve into money matters across a number of themes, from saving for a child and money nightmares to insurance and all things investing.

Each feature is delivered with the trust, ethics and financial principles that i readers have come to expect in the decade since the news brand’s inception.

imoney editor Elizabeth Anderson said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to imoney so far. Readers love the mix of personal stories along with tips and guides. They have also shown remarkable generosity, including one reader who recently donated £5,000 to a case study struggling financially!”

i’s commercial director Andrew Webb said: “A major benefit of joining the Mail Metro Media portfolio is the huge might and resource of its money products – we’re thrilled that imoney has launched as part of that collection. This is the first new section the i newsbrand has created in its 10-year history and it couldn’t come at a better time, as we strive to guide our loyal readers through an uncertain and concerning financial climate.”
