ESI Media appoint Stuart Corke

ESI Media - publisher of London Evening Standard, owners of Independent Print Limited and winners of the local TV licence for London – has appointed Stuart Corke as head of audience and insight.

He will report to group commercial director Jon O’Donnell and will help to support the launch of London Live – the Evening Standard’s new local TV station - as well as providing insight in to the company’s existing newsbrands.

O’Donnell said: “We’ve had a fantastic journey so far across all of our brands and the arrival of TV to our stable makes the future all the more exciting. Understanding our audience is always at the heart of everything we do and Stuart’s appointment will really help us take this to the next level. His experience will help us offer the very best creative cross-platform commercial opportunities based on understanding more about the motivations and behaviours of our unrivalled audience.”

Previously, Corke spent 12 years at News International in various roles, including director of strategic planning and customer insight. 

He said: “I am pleased to be joining at an exciting time in the company’s development. ESI Media is a proven innovator in evolving its newsbrands to be commercially more successful while at the same time producing award-winning quality journalism.

“Coupled with the investment in its TV franchise, there is a great opportunity to help commercial partners understand our audiences more.”
