  • Coca Cola wanted to use their #shareacoke campaign to celebrate the birth of the royal baby, in particular reaching a young, urbanite audience through the Metro
  • The premium OBC site of the paper was secured for the ad with a guarantee to run in the first edition of the paper on the relevant day
  • The campaign was well established before the ad featured alongside the news of the royal baby, but it gained significant momentum after the placement
  • On the day that the ad appeared there was a 262% increase in tweets carrying #shareacoke
