Telegraph launches Total Football podcast

The Telegraph expands its football coverage this season with the launch of its new podcast, hosted by Thom Gibbs editor of The Telegraph Sport website.

The new weekly show, which debuted on the 6 August sees Thom Gibbs joined by co-hosts including Telegraph Sport's football reporters Paul Hayward, Jason Burt, Sam Wallace, Jeremy Wilson, Matt Law, Jim White, John Percy, Chris Bascombe, James Ducker and Luke Edwards.

The episodes will provide listeners with the inside track on the week's big stories and provide insight and analysis of the Premier League, Football League and the international game. Gibbs will also be joined by special guests every week to debate the sport's big issues.

The podcast is sponsored by specialist fund managers Liontrust.

Nick Green, joint head of sport sponsorship and partnerships, said: "Telegraph Total Football is an exciting new strand to our unrivalled coverage of the game, with our reporters and special guests joining host Thom Gibbs every week throughout the season.

"Listeners can look forward to a weekly glimpse behind the scenes and find out what's really happening in the Premier League, and elsewhere across the world of football.

"We are delighted at the initial reaction to this new launch from Telegraph Sport, with it racing to the top of the iTunes chart within hours of its release."
