Katie Ingram joins ESI Media as director of trade marketing and insight, working across The Independent, the London Evening Standard, indy100 and ES Magazine.
In the new role, Ingram will work towards driving bespoke insight projects to support ESI's understanding of its influential audience.
As ESI Media continues to expand its offering across print, digital, events and content creation, Ingram will create engaging activities to build partnerships with agencies and clients.
Bringing over 16 years of media experience to the role, Ingram most recently held the position of strategy and planning director at Outsmart. She has also worked at Exterion as group agency sales director, CBS Outdoor and Turner Broadcasting.
She will report to Dan Locke, chief agency strategy officer.
Locke said: "As our portfolio of brands continues to grow in audience size and influence, alongside growing expertise in custom content and events, it is crucial that we bring our commercial offering to life for partners across all parts of the business. Katie brings exactly the right knowledge to the role to be able to do just that, with experience both strategic sales and marketing, while extending our insight capabilities to ensure we remain at the forefront of audience understanding."
Ingram added: "This is an exciting time to be joining ESI and I'm really looking forward to working with the growing Independent digital brand and London powerhouse brand the Evening Standard. It's a powerful media portfolio and commercial offering, with many exciting opportunities for clients and agencies. I'm going to enjoy reflecting this innovation in our trade marketing and insight strategy."
